Keep Our Families Safe: Our neighborhoods deserve increased police presence and timely arrival of emergency vehicles. Lynda will work to ensure that our First Responders have state of art equipment as well as the quantity and quality of personnel to provide our citizens the best care possible.

Fix Our Revenue Problems: Lynda will bring greater attention to the inadequate state reimbursement for the disabled veteran’s property tax exemption. Income from this reimbursement could be used to fund much-needed projects like a Senior Citizen Center for our most valued residents, our seasoned residents or a Sports Complex which could generate revenue for our city as well as provide a place for our youth to perfect their athletic skills.

Revitalize Our Economy and Community: Lynda will advocate for social reform and work to rebuild the economy of North Harker Heights. Harker Heights needs to look seriously at creating programs to encourage first-generation home ownership, encouraging healthy community planning with more parks and more efficient transportation options, and ensure that developers offer incentives to keep Harker Heights citizens employed.
